Consumers are looking for fresh tuxedos products but there are none.

Consumers are looking for fresh tuxedos products but there are none.

Since 2001, the formal wear business has deteriorated to its current condition, unable to provide innovation and fresh, new fashion. Instead, current inventories in most stores contain old, worn garments with expired licensing branding. Top level members of the formal wear business have been hoping and wishing for a turnaround but have so far been unable to shed the same, tired systems of the past. For next season, the problems seem to me mounting further and many find themselves fenced into a position that they have no idea how to maneuver past.

The information is slowly but surely making its way to the general public that has always suspected the value of renting used garments. Questions of how many times has a garment been used (and abused) are now being clearly answered, as the rate of replenishment has slowed to a trickle. Garments that used to be filtered every few seasons are now being held onto longer, due to the lack of fashion creation from a dwindling number of suppliers and inability of store owners to pass the higher standards of credit in order to buy new goods.

With this in mind, we are closely watching the remaining suppliers and what they intend to do. One or two are felt to be on the ropes, looking for ways to depart the business. Others are scrambling to find their way and shed the high cost of business, while only two show promise in becoming a major go-to force.

At this time, we are working with every supplier except one, in order to bring you the best in new formal wear fashion. For now, please continue to contact us before visiting your local tuxedo store to make sure you’re getting the best possible value for your money.
